Jodi and Michael were married at St. Mark United Methodist Church on 12th Ave. Followed by the reception at New World Landing. Jodi hired a wedding planner, and when I have time I will post a link to her website.

Thanks to Rachel Freeman's post, I am now inspired to update again. Since the last post, I have relocated to south Florida. However, all my friends in Pensacola make it possible for me to keep coming back for shoots. In September I will be shooting my first wedding down south in Lake Placid. Jodi is getting married this Saturday, so to get you ready.... Here a few of her engagements. Hope you enjoy.

Faith and I had an awesome time! I cannot wait to shoot her wedding in October. However between her living in Jacksonville, and I in Fort Myers, this is the time we could meet up for the bridals. After shooting her today, I know we have many more shoots to come. This girl is thinking about trashing the dress after the wedding! I am so excited. She also will have many surprises to come.... Maybe a trip to Orlando soon.... For a well..... You will just have to wait and see. Okay so back to the bridal shoot, the beach was my favorite spots and hopefully hers. I cannot wait to edit them ALL! However I wanted to post something for her to get excited about, and for all of my other viewers I hope you keep checking up because they are going to be great.

Jamie's Bridal Pictures!

So yesterday, I shot Jamie. It was a beautiful day, and we went to many locations. This shot brought back so many memories for me because Jamie was the first person I took on a photoshoot. Just like old times we spent the whole day shooting. I am so excited to start editing hers, but I need to finish Holly's, so just to water my taste buds, I have edited a few and here are some of them!

So yesterday, on what might be the coldest day of the year, I had the chance to photograph Jodi and her boyfriend. Jodi and I have been friends since, well, we had a common interest, a set of brothers. Since then we have both moved on, but stayed in touch over the years. Like always, we had a blast and I hope the photographs show that.

Wow, 2007 was a awesome year. My photography has snowballed into a very important part of my life. I have shot numerous shoots this year, and with each one I have learned something new. I look forward to the one day shoots with the seniors. At the same time I build such a relationship with all of my brides, and by the time their wedding comes, I feel so happy for them. The newest addition to my shooting is maternity and baby shoots. My latest shoot was a newborn shoot in Tallahassee. Yes, I am shooting in numerous towns now. I have even booked my first wedding in Fort Myers for when I move there! So I am looking forward for 2008, and all of the shoots it has to offer. Enjoy the following pictures of baby Ben!

Brittany's Senior Portraits

This Saturday, I met Brittany and we did a shoot more on the west side of Pensacola. I had previously done her step-sister's seniors, and now it was her turn. It seems she shares the love of photography, and was willing to stop anywhere. I found two new places, and I think girls are going to love the pink and green gas station I found. However Brittany gets to own that spot for awhile, and I prolly won't use it again for a few months. She will also have another original spot, because most likely I will not be able to find it again. We found another deserted building, and it made a pretty blue and off white backdrop. Oh and we used a chair, in the surf that is. So yea we had a great shoot! Take a look!

So six out of my ten pictures won at the fair! I recieved a really outstanding award, from the Pensacola Seirra Club. I then one another four first place awards and one second award. I was kind of afraid that I wouldn't recieve anything, but I did! I am pretty proud right now! Of course I didn't bring my camera, because I kind of thought I wouldn't win so the pictures are from a cellphone!

Hanging my pictures, or hanging myself?

So I set up my display of pictures today for the fair. Three years ago, when I went some of the entries were Horrible! Well it's not the same this year, there are a lot of really really good pictures. However I think I stand a good chance because there were not that many really good shots of people. Mostly all of my shots are of people. I would rank myself slightly above middle grade, not the best but not horrible either. That's all I am going to say, cause I do not want to jenks myself by gossiping. I am glad I had the guts to enter though. So we will see in a week, how others feel about my prints. Wish me luck, cause I am gonna need it!

Pensacola Fair

So this week I have been trying to pull together a group of photographs to enter the fair Photography contest. I am not going in the only to become a winner (well hopefully at least one of my pics will get attention) but I have never really had my pictures compared to others. I want to see where I stand, so wish me luck! My pictures will include: Large prints: Swamp, two brides, and Kate's senior graffiti pic. Medium prints: Jamie and Craig engagement, Trash the wedding dress, Max the two year old, Jennifer senior pic. Small prints will include another Jamie and Craig engagement, and possible and swan picture. So yea I will have a large area at the fair. I am now sleepless due to fact that I have no idea how I am going to hang this pictures. We will find out on Friday I guess. So if your heading out to the fair, check out my pictures! I will post the results whenever I find out anything!

Trash the Wedding Dress!

I finally did it, I trashed a wedding dress! One of my brides Jennifer was a perfect model. I really owe her big time because she never once complained. Even when the dress started to drag her into the rough surf. The heat was horrible when we first started, and still I heard no complaints. This also gives Jennifer the feel for what she has in store for her bridals coming up. However we are going to shoot in December when heat is not the issue.

We started at Live Oak, and then drove out to Pensacola Beach. We were sitting in the car cooling off, when we decided to shoot at Fort Barrancus instead. So we drove all the way to the back gate of the navy base. The guard at the gate would not let us in, he said the fort was closed for the day. Agh, I drove all that way! So we headed out to Perdido Key. That turned out for the best because the traffic was small compared to Pensacola Beach. The fact that the stress of keeping the dress clean was absent made the shoot an awesome one. However it was a little shocking to actually have Jennifer get into the water, but look at the artwork! Some of my favorite include her standing in the street, in the surf, and her standing on a dead tree near the wateredge. Does the dress look like a 15 dollar dress found off ebay to you? Because it is! Well worth the money spent! Did you know that this dress looks still brand new? We used a little Shout, and trew it in the washer to get the sand off of it, and it looks just fine. I plan on taking it to a used clothing store to trade it in for another dress to trash. If any of you want to do this with your own dress let me know because I would love to do it again. I plan on doing this my own wedding dress while on a cruise in Mexico. Anyways, Enjoy the pictures and let me know what you think!

Welcome to my new blog!

Okay so I have finally done it, I have created a blog just for my photography. Maybe I should not have done this, because I am sitting in the middle of cd's, all of my files from all of me photo shoots. I am thinking of which pics to actually post. For the past few months, I have been shooting and booking a lot of the seniors from Pace High School. I love it, so Pace keep on coming! I am shocked by the power of Myspace and the internet. All it takes is one client with Myspace who is willing to put my name and number under their profile pictures, and bam, I at least get two phone calls from the picture. I am really praying that I get a few more weddings between now and next May. I have a wedding in June, and then after that I will be relocating to Fort Myers. I am willing to fly home for a shoot, but I will have to up my cost. I am also willing to start over in Fort Myers. So wish me luck and stay tuned for more updates, and Welcome!
